Meridiem Wind Orchestra invites you to Dave Dunnet Theatre on Wednesday, October 24th for an evening of British band music. This program will delight you with the stylings of some of the most beloved of music written for Wind Orchestra and the interpretations of three very fine local conductors.
There will be music from William Byrd, Percey Grainger, Vaughn Williams, Gordon Jacob, William Walton, and Gustav Holst.
The Conductors include the current director of the University of Victoria Wind Symphony, Steven Capaldo; one of our Meridiem Wind Orchestra musicians, Risa McDonnell; and our beloved Director of Music, Scott MacInnes.
It will be a thrilling evening of music. The British are coming!!!
