Event Description

Old Tin Shack is a roots based acoustic band (guitar, slide guitar, mandolin, harp) featuring outstanding local veteran musicians Rick VanKrugel, Derek Walsh,
Russ Godfrey and added guest Mark Comerford. Influenced by almost every genre of music this intrepid group of accomplished musicians will perform a ‘rootsy’ evening for us on October 13.

The band members all came into their own in the 60s and 70s and their music reflects that. If you like Rhythm and Groove with harp (harmonica) and stringband format, you will really enjoy this band. The band specializes in rootsy old time folk music, ragtime, jug band, jazz, country, blues, vintage rock, hokum, novelty and more. “We have an interesting take on life and it comes through in our songs; we have a LOT of fun” says Russ Godfrey.

To know more about them you can go to their Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/oldtinshack/

We will start the night with Open Stage

Come on your own / bring along friends and family for this wonderful evening.

Charges: 7.00 , children under 15: free
