Inspired screen writing, legendary direction, and immortal performances from such as Anthony Perkins and Arnoldo Foà translate this timeless Kafka novel to the silver screen. Winner of "Best Film" by the French Syndicate of Cinema Critics, Welles himself declared The Trial "the best film I have ever made."
