“Last Night of the Proms” takes us on an imaginary excursion to the final days of summer in Great Britain, to experience one of Britannia’s great musical traditions. Typically, the Proms showcase some lighter, popular works, beloved workhorses and perhaps a modern, patriotic pleaser or two, with an occasional nod to events of the day. As with Proms of the past, this colorful musical celebration has something for everyone! So dust off your bow ties and cheeky fascinators.
