Event Description

On September 11, 2004, The Tiller's Folly raised the rafters at the
historical Gulf of Georgia Cannery in Steveston with a high-energy
performance of their best-loved tunes. The sold-out event was filmed
with six cameras and luscious 5.1 surround sound and now, 6 months
later, the Rogue is proud to present the release of the DVD of that
extraordinary evening. Grounded and influenced by Celtic Music and the mists of Canadian history, The Tiller’s Folly have decades of musical experience between them, Their unique blend of Celtic/folk/rock/pop/bluegrass is written with respect for tradition and history, played with virtuosity and gusto, and is fun and thoughtful, both. In this age of fast-food music, even in the folk field, thank goodness for the music of Tiller’s Folly. Website: www.tillersfolly.com.
