Event Description

Come and bring out your inner mystical creature......

We are proud to bring you the 4th annual "Where the Wild Things are" - AppleCat's yearly night of primal mystic celebration.
A night of Mythic Beasts, and Primal Creatures: Join us this evening adorned in furs and claws. Feather plumes, leather wings and unicorn horns.

Featuring mystic dancers, body painters, talented musicians and more; we encourage your beastly side to come roam the pavement Jungle of Downtown Victoria's sweetest spot; cavort with the wolves, dance with the dragons and feast on our decadent delights.

Which creature flows, slithers, prowls deep within your human exterior?

Costumes and beastly wares are muchly encouraged.

TICKETS AT THE DOOR: 25.00

Note: As it was the first "Where the Wild Things Are" when Charlie Wilson and AppleCat's first started seeing each other, all proceeds from this event will be going towards funding their wedding this coming August 5th.

A message from C and AC:

"This August we are gathering on Salt Spring Island with our beloved friends, family and community for a hand-fasting and wedding ritual. We are coming together in the spirit of celebrating love, to invite people deeper into our lives, and our shared vision of a better, more connected world.

But to make this happen, we're going to need a lot of help. As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a wedding.
As such, we are asking you all for support

This is not a spectator wedding, it is participatory and we would love it if folks could contribute in some way. Whether it's through gifting your time and talents (thank you to the artists of WTWTA!!), a monetary gift, or both!
Maybe you already bought a ticket to "Where the Wild Things are", maybe you're not able to attend but still want to contribute, or maybe you'd just like to help out with a little extra. It all helps and we are extremely grateful and touched by every dollar raised."
