Event Description
Pacific Rim Potters annual Spring Exhibition is a one-day show and sale by local Vancouver Island artists.
2018 spring show guest artists Debbie Elkins, Tony Mochizuki, and newcomer Laurie Hashizumi will join group regulars Cindy Gibson, Darrel Hancock, Nora Lewin, Peggy Elmes, Linda Vigliotti and Ester Galac to put together a classy and eclectic show of functional and sculptural pottery sure to suit every taste and budget.
Each of the potters has developed an individual style, and perfected their own designs for a wide array of pieces, ranging from eggcups to sculpture. Colourful garden art rubs shoulders with unique pottery for the kitchen, elegant Ikebana vases, dramatic display pieces and the humble coffee mug. The sale is always held on the Saturday before Mothers' Day, making it a great place to find that perfect gift for Mum, something special for yourself, your backyard birds or even find inspiration for your next pottery class.
Pacific Rim Potters is a long established group of professional and semi-professional artists who exhibit together twice a year. Their events are free, in a wheelchair accessible venue, with complimentary refreshments, free parking and door prizes by raffle. Shoppers, browsers, curious or serious, friends old and new are all welcome. All artists will be in attendance.
