Eat Fresh Breakdance Jam
Saturday March 19th / UBC Ballroom / $5.
Doors 6:30, battle begins at 7:30
In collaboration with the UBC Hip Hop Club Sista'Hood 2005 will feature an all ages breakdance and funkstyles open crew battle. This event will include an all women’s one-on-one exhibition battle, an open crew battle—for ladies and guys with a $300 prize—performances from Sisterz of the Underground (SF) and award winning popper Pandora (LA). Extra Credit Crew (Sisterz of the Underground) (SF)
The Extra Credit Crew is an all-female, breaking crew centralized in the San Francisco Bay Area and an accessory to Sisterz of the Underground. They have been featured through out the USA at festivals and coferences such as the Los Angeles Urban Dance Festival, Van's Warped Tour 2003, Hiphop Conference at UC Santa Cruz, Scribble Jam in Cincinatti, Justice League in San Francisco, and more. It’s members include: Jana Jones, Sarah Smalls, Nurseboogie, Crix, Goldirocks, A-ups, Macha, Estairia, and Dr. Beantwerp.

Pandora (LA)
Street Dancer Pandora is a nationally acclaimed performer and artist. Based out of Santa Ana, Orange County, Pandora's roots stem from not only dance, but from art in general; from drawing to writing, design to music. Due to the guidance & influence of some L.A.’s most notorious street dancers, Pandora was introduced into the technical world of Popping & Locking. Pandora has since joined up with world renowned Funk Styles dance crew “ABM” and has traveled, competed and won against some of the best dancers on the globe.
