Event Description

Learn to play African Percussion
A very special set of workshops this summer in Victoria (Aug 27th to 31st at 6:30pm and 8pm). Learn beautiful rhythms form West Africa on a variety of instruments. You are welcome to mix & match workshops – take as many or as few as you would like. There are also two VERY attractive package deals if you are taking several workshops.
The focus is on having fun and learning new patterns! As well as djembe (hand drums), there will be the option to learn balafon (African xylophone) and bass drums (played with sticks).
