Event Description

This is your opportunity to learn from one of the world's best percussionists! Bruno will be teaching djembe, bass drums and Dunun Dance (bass drumming with choreography).
Bruno began his study of African drumming in 1979, and was the first non-African to study djembe in Guinea, West Africa.
He went on to share the stage with many musical great such as Mamady Keita. Famoudou Konate, Fadouba Oulare, Doudou N'Diaye Rose, Zap Mama, & Horacio " El Negro" Hernandez.
This will be his only North American location, teaching one week of workshops exclusively in Victoria, BC.
You will learn new rhythms under the masterful guidance of this amazing instructor...
Students who have taken his workshops found them to be transformational in terms of learning. There will be weekend workshops in Djembe and week night workshops in Djembe, Bass Drums & Dunun Dance.
