The 17-piece South Van Big Band features musicians from across the Lower Mainland. Playlists include an eclectic mix of jazz, funk, Latin, and contemporary music. Join us with Vancouver pop and jazz vocalist Ikuko for an outdoor afternoon of big band jazz set against the backdrop of English Bay!

Celebrating Haywood Bandstand's 104 Years of Community Performances from 1914 – 2017, The Esmond and Edith Lando Trust Fund, the Vancouver Park Board and the West End Community Centre Association present Music in the park. Bring a picnic and enjoy these free performances on various Sundays during the summer. All-ages entertainment, everyone welcome.
Music in the Park takes place on various Sundays throughout the summer from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the Haywood Bandstand in Alexandra Park on 1755 Beach Avenue at Bidwell.
