Battle of the Bands reutrns to The Loft!
All genres and instruments welcome - although please keep in mind we are looking for bands and not solo artists at this time :)
***If you entered in our March edition of Battle of the Bands and did not win, please feel free to enter again!***
On Thursday September 28th (7pm) and Friday September 29 (8pm), we are hosting a Battle of the Bands. We want YOU and your talent!
There will be TWO winners from each night and the judging criteria is based on:
1 - talent!
2 - audience reaction (bring your biggest fans!)
3 - does it look like you're having fun?!
Who is judging you? Why, the fine people who run the Thursday night jam at The Loft - that's who!
The winners from Thursday and Friday *must* be available to play on Saturday September 30th at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm,or 10pm. Set times are determined closer to the event and will be updated once we know who the winners are.
All four winning bands get $100 for playing a 45 minute set on Saturday September 30th. The winner of that will go on to get their own paid gig in November or December at The Loft.
We have tons of prizes throughout the night to give away from our sponsors - you won't want to miss this! more sponsors announced the closer we get to the dates!
We will have a drum kit available... just bring your sticks and cymbals and your instruments (amps too! and cables!) and let's rock out! Please be prepared to play a 15-20 minute set of covers OR original tunes OR both:)
