New York pianist Misha Piatigorsky is an active ingredient in multiple musical worlds in Manhattan music scene and beyond. From Brazilian to hip hop, to Gospel and film music and more. In this special concert - part two of his summer residency on the West Coast Misha presents the music from his imagination - music inspired by and written for film, music drawing on hip hop, Brazilian music, jazz drawn from the cutting edge and from the great tradition of jazz piano trio. Drawing on two decades of award-winning composition and arranging the Misha Piatigorsky Trio plays Misha Piatigorsky will be a stunning finale and companion to Misha's Setting the Standard concert on July 8th.
