Event Description
It Was a Very Big Year: How many species can one avid birder find in 12 months on Vancouver Island?
Ann Nightingale of Rocky Point Bird Observatory will speak about her adventures to set a Vancouver Island Big Year birding record in 2015. Over the course of 12 months, she traveled from tip to tip of the island several times, tracking down both one-of-a-kind and common birds in fields, forests, and on the water. This show will focus on birds, but will also highlight the amazing scenery and wildlife of Vancouver Island.
This event is by donation, please ensure you use the “book now” button to the left to reserve, as space is limited.
