The Rocksteady Collective Multimedia Arts Exhibition returns!
Note: Rocksteady Collective Exhibition Launch Party feat. Culinary arts from chef Eric Holden, 5pm-7pm @ Odd Fellows Hall (1315 Douglas)
Come down to Odd Fellows Hall (1315 Douglas) for an amazing night of music in an incredibly intimate environment, surrounded by the art of a plethora of the community's finest visual art from artists like Francis Dick, Verse, Sean 'Flynch' Behnsen, and many more. Providing the soundtrack on this opening night party are Vancouver dub-reggae sensations, RAILTOWN SOUND SYSTEM. After an incredible performance at this year's St. Patrick's Day throwdown at Lucky Bar, we knew we had to bring them back for another round. Let the deep dub reggae of Railtown seep into your bloodstream, as it moves and relaxes you to your core.
Victoria rockers EVERYBODY LEFT will be joining Railtown to provide an extra burst of high-octane energy. The bands tight grooves and ferocious playing is sure to get you jumping on a Friday night. Joining these two amazing bands is another west coast master of music, OSTWELVE. Ostwelve wears many hats - actor, writer, community organizer, graphic designer - but on this night, he's ready to rap. His dense, nimble, thoughtful rhymes are sure to be one of the festival's highlights. This is an incredible night of music that cannot and should not be missed!
This event is ALL AGES and FULLY LICENSED (19+)
