Join us for an evening at the Victoria Event Centre, on Sunday March 19th from 5pm to 10pm, and help us reach our fundraising goal to complete the Little Acorn Backyard Project.
The Little Acorn Care Centre is a non-profit, licensed, group childcare Centre that provides quality care to 40 children ages 2.5-5 years old on a daily basis. Our team knows that children need to be given opportunities to explore with all of their senses. At Little Acorn, we facilitate and encourage children through gross motor activities that use their bodies to learn. A large part of this comes from our outdoor play space that allows children throughout the day to engage in safe, outdoor fun and learning through play.
We are raising funds to install a poured rubber surface into our play yard and make upgrades to improve the quality of our service for the children at Little Acorn. This clean space would allow children to have a safe surface for jumping, crawling, bike riding, and rolling while encouraging dramatic play and an area for chasing, playing games, and being children.
The evening features a three course meal (catered by Little Piggy Catering), a pub quiz hosted by Benji, live music from the New Waves, and a silent auction. Tickets are $40 and include a full three course meal.
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
