The Cowichan Folk Guild is happy to welcome Victoria based artist Kristia Di Gregorio as our featured artist for the April Coffeehouse.
Kristia is a remarkable singer and songwriter, and a past Vancouver Island Music Award winner. Her most recent album, The Whiplash Curve is a lush and beautiful collection of songs, recorded with the Juno winning, and Grammy nominated producer Joby Baker. Kristia's songs have a larger-than-life, cinematic quality to them, and her recent work takes listeners on a journey through the Belle Époque, or the "beautiful era". A period in Western Europe between the 1870's and early 1900's marked in part by a thriving arts and music scene. Kristia is an engaging performer, and an imaginative and enthusiastic story teller.
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
