Event Description

Put on your dancing shoes and come out for a fun evening of Cajun music to celebrate Mardi Gras with three high energy bands: Bijoux du Bayou, Daniel Cook & The Radiators and the Bastion Band Duo!

Bijoux Du Bayou brings high-energy dance music combining Cajun, Zydeco, Swing, Calypso, and a few other flavors to create a sound that would make even the Amish want to do the Bugaloo! From fast-paced infectious tunes to a slow lovers' waltz, you'll love Bijoux Du Bayou and you'll swear they were all born in the Bayou!

Daniel Cook & The Radiators is an original West Coast roots group, with Robert Cromwell's subtle and solid grooves, Ryan Rock's funk-driven bass, Roger Plant's ripping lead guitar, and Daniel Cook's well-crafted song writing, these contagious melodies and timeless stories are blended into a tasty mix of indie-folk, funk and country by these fine fellas.

Bastion Band perform traditional New Orleans jazz, roots country, blues, and R & B. Lyrical, bluesy, and unhurried, the Bastion Band treats fans to an evening of music rarely heard outside of the Crescent City. Featuring compositions of Jelly Roll Morton, WC Handy, and Louis Armstrong, plus roots country, folk, blues, and rock music from the golden era, the Bastion Band carries on a tradition that's been alive for over one hundred years.
