Event Description

Recently widowed Hubert (Andre Dussollier) is getting used to his new life in his spacious apartment and needs a housekeeper. In an unexpected twist he finds himself offering a room to Manuela (Bérengère Krief), a young student looking for shared accommodation who is prepared to take on the job. While the set-up might seem standard, the actors, with the guiding hand of director Desagnat, are fresh, lively and particularly earnest.

Then the veritable whirlwind that is Manuela convinces Hubert to look for more roommates. Marion, an uptight nurse, and Paul-Gérard, a soon-to-be divorced lawyer, move in. An unlikely family is formed, and the four roommates experience a year filled with surprises that will give Hubert a chance to regain his enthusiasm and purpose in life.
