737 Productions Presents Chuck's 40th Birthday Party and the return of The James T. Kirks for their 20th Anniversary! 737 Productions also turns 4 years old at this one, so it is going to be quite the party.
The James T. Kirks bring their own instrumental punk rock back to Victoria, and with it they will be bringing their brand new 7 inch record! The Kirks haven't played Victoria in years, so don't miss your chance to see them. If you aren't familiar with them, they are the brain child of Rob and Ted Wright and Slias Genis of Edmonton. You may know Rob Wright from other things he has done such as singing in punk rock n' rollers, Les Tabernacles or playing bass in the ever rolling Vicious Cycles. They play Instro-Punk in the highest form.
We are also super excited to present the return of comic book influenced pop punkers from Vancouver The Corps. These guys blew through town last winter, and played an impecible set. Though a fairly new band, these guys sound like they have played together for years. Featuring two Real McKenzies members too!
Opening up this extravaganza will be new Victoria garage punks, Sado Mannequin. These guys play a brand of music reminiscent of early Misfits. They feature one member of Hank Angel's Island Devils and the Line Traps drummer. Don't be late, these guys are great fresh blood on the scene.
