Event Description
Maestro Sir Oscar Stickman is an internationally renowned celebrity conductor, polymath, and acts as Chief Arts and Culture advisor to Parliament in Ottawa. He has performed worldwide with the most distinguished orchestras in some of the most prestigious concert halls.
Born at a very young age, his prodigious talent was discovered while waving his baton at the other kids on the playground. He graduated Oxford two months before being admitted and three months before auditioning. At the tender age of seven he became Supreme director of the London Symphony Orchestra, embarking on a planetary tour that confirmed his humble claim to genius. Numerous global institutions have sought out his expertise in all artistic and cultural matters, including the United Nations Cultural Assembly (of which he was president), Her Majesty’s Arts Bureau and the Lethbridge Cultural Commission.
Recently, Maestro Stickman has embarked on a new mission: to tour the nation’s theatres and share some of his experience, thoughts, and inspiration with his adoring audiences. His wonderful ground-breaking show. The Comedy of Music is a magnificent spectacle, never-before seen in North America. Maestro Stickman begrudgingly acknowledges the barely apt work of his manager, Konstantin R. Bozhinov.
