Event Description

The Cowichan Consort Orchestra and Choir present 'Music of the Cinema' May 7th 7:30 pm Chr Ref Church in Duncan. Ecole Mt Prevost children's choir directed by Gia Jane will be the guest choir singing 2 songs from Lion King and the famous song from Les Choristes. Music from the movies Shine, Evita, Frozen, Cinema Paradiso, James Bond, ET, Star Wars, Star Trek, Jaws, 2001 Space Odyessy, Kismet, Looney Tunes, and more. The famous oboe solo from The Mission will be performed by Colin Mailer. Come sing along to many. We are sure all the young prince and princesses will know every word to Frozen. Austin Powers and Capt. Kirk may just show up! Ethel Merman will perform There's No Business like Show Business. Tickets at Volume One Bookstore and at the door. Last concert was sold out. Don't be disappointed, get them early. A special prize -the Oscar- will be awarded for best costume of your fav movie character worn to/ in the concert. Calling all Trekkies!!! Harry Potters.....
