Saturday Jazz matinee featuring Canadian Jazz Legends the Ron Johnston Trio plays the music of Oscar Peterson and MORE!
Pianist Ron Johnston has been a staple of Canadian Jazz piano for over 40 years. One of the country's best kept secrets, Ron is a pianist who garners international acclaim for his touch, lyrical improvisation and swing. A former student of the great Oscar Peterson, Ron brings authority to the distinctive trio sound and swing of the great Oscar Peterson's legacy.
Featuring renowned Canadian bassist Neil Swainson and drummer Kelby MacNayr.
