Event Description

Move over Portland!
Here in Vancouver stangers become friends in a BlanketFort we build together.
We meet at the Astoria at 8pm. Our host, Emma, brings blankets, non-denominational holiday lights and pillows. We bring our PJs and rig up a 30+ person BlanketFort in which we drink beers and listen to jokes and stories from seasoned Vancouver comedians and new storytellers.
What?! Yeah. For real. Top that, Portland.

Our November show features Cam Macleod of The Hero Show. The Hero Show and Cam are both comedic gems in the city.

We will have Megan Phillips who is a talented comedian and singer who kills it on tour across the country and is a karaoke fricken queen.

Shirly Gnome will close out our fort in fine style with her delightfully raunchy and hilarious country songs. This gal kills it at Fringe Festivals across the world! You can see her in a fort!

More funny delights to be announced. So bring a friend. This magical event is by donation. Proceeds go towards cab fare to get all the Blankets to the Astoria and to buy the comedians a beer.
We don't need to keep Vancouver weird. It's already there. You just need to come. It's better with you here.
