TIGER PRAWN ... the 'every now and then' evil brainchild of Shockk Mongoose and Johnny Wildkat! brothers from other mothers, Buffalo born, Buffalo bound, head's smashed in Buffalo jump. this dynamic duo occasionally stray from their respective packs, lay down the tools of their trade, pick up a pair of sticks (Shockk), a battle axe (Johnny) and wage a war on each other. cranking out hits we haven't heard yet but don't sweat it, neither have they. no two Tiger Prawn sets are ever the same! no rules. no hidden agendas ... other than fun with friends, two shots, a beer, a blistering set, then back to Buffalo! don't miss these dudes!
Mobina Galore from Winnipeg, Manitoba are an alt garage punk 2pc with incredible pop sensibility (similar to Japandroids). since 2010 sisters from other misters Jenna Priestner and Marcia Hanson have been tearing up the country on one tour or another. they are no coast heavyweights, playing tonnes of rad festivals, now NXNE regulars, they've been charting really well across the country since 2012, they've worked with and supported an impressive roster of artists. don't miss these dudettes!

Contra Code have spent the past couple years killing it around town with upbeat, high energy melodic tech punk, leaning on heavy 90s/00s influences and landing somewhere between the sounds of NOFX, Belvedere, Bollweevils and 88FL/Rise Against of that era. no rip-offs nor revivals here though, tight arrangements, original approach, their EP is aces and they're just wrapping up a new full length which i suspect will be nothing short of stellar. they open so come early!
