Event Description
For the love of music and creating more opportunities for women musicians to shine their creative brilliance! Each evening will consist of a showcase for the first hour, hosted by Shauna Janz and featuring a variety of performers. The last hour will introduce a special feature performance.

Ellisa Hartman hails from Victoria, BC and has spent the better part of twenty years crafting her skills in songwriting, singing, and guitar. Her artistic presence, unique voicing and quirky instrumental timing bring an honest and charismatic sound to the folk and roots genres.

Kat has always knew that she wanted to be a musician from an early age. She began singing when she was two years old, and picked up her first guitar at the age of seven. At the age 19 Kat Selah is now playing gigs around victoria BC and had her first tour, in which she played venues around BC. Starting out in a girl band, she is now a Solo act and cant wait for what the future has to hold.
Leona Fowler
Leona is a mother of two beautiful girls, and a passionate photographer, poet and writer of children’s books, and personal growth seeker so she can be better person for herself, her children and family. She loves music, swimming, hiking and moving to live a healthy physical, mental and emotional life. Singing since a little girl with her parents and sister around the kitchen table, she will be sharing her passion in her native Czech language.

Vancouver Island singer-songwriter Shauna Janz's unconventional approach and folk-soprano voice has awarded her quick recognition. Recently releasing an EP, her song Redwood has been nominated “Song of the Year” at the 2015 Island Music Awards. Her indie-folk sounds are described as "lyrical, soulful, warm" and "stunning and memorable; a unique voice that combines folk with soul". With a fierce heart for creative expression, and an endearing stage-presence, audiences can expect fascinating guitar tunings, haunting melodies punctuated by driving rhythms, and set amongst both ethereal soprano sounds and strong spirited vocals.
