Event Description

This season we have invited a tremendous musical talent from l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal. Violinist Richard Roberts is a man with an outstanding CV, including studies with Josef Gingold and Henryk Szeryng, many years as Concertmaster of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and eight years as assistant concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra under conductor Lorin Maazel.
Richard will join us in a program of works for strings and piano, including Shostakovich’s brilliant Piano Quintet and Beethoven’s ‘Ghost’ Trio.
