Event Description

In 1957 wildlife artist Robert Bateman and his best friend Dr Bristol Foster embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. Travelling around the world in a Land Rover these two young men set off to explore, document and discover the natural world. They used every means available to them: photo, film, paper, pen, and brush to capture a world that no longer exists.

Now in their eighties these two life long friends invite you to join them as they revisit this quest for knowledge. The Robert Bateman Centre is working on an exhibit of images, video and objects from this tour that is scheduled to open in May of 2015.
