GuitarWorks ’15 travels back in time to the heyday of the baroque guitar—the world of Watteau and 17th-18th century dazzlement—played on a copy of Stradivarius’ 1679 ‘Sabionari’ guitar—in works of Handel, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, and the ever-present Anonymous. Featuring Alexander Dunn, baroque guitar. With Douglas Hensley, theorbo, soprano Anne Grimm, Soile Stratkauskas, baroque flute, Ann Fraser, baroque violin, and Martin Bonham, baroque cello.
