Justine Sawyer was born in the private sphere. She was born on the inside of a public healthcare facility where she was born sexed female and gendered female by those around her. She was raised in an open community where she was not open. Her house was on private property. The public space was on and beside the roads which is where she walked every day to get to the private zones that were individually owned by other people or conglomerates of people. She attended a publicly funded elementary and high school, then publicly funded independent private-sector institutions. She moved to other towns. The towns were un-owned but the land on them was. It was stolen from the original inhabitants. Now she is in Victoria. She owns no land, owns no private residence, and operates both publicly and privately within the private and public sector

Serina was raised on private property among a cluster of private propertys.
