. Saturday, April 18th IMU presents GIRAFFE AFTERMATH, HEADS HANG HEAVY & BRASS ACTION @ The Railway Club, 579 Dunsmuir . Show 9:30pm / $10 cover

GIRAFFE AFTERMATH - Delivering adventurous sets of lively, danceable music and deep, relentless groove, Giraffe Aftermath uses hip-hop rhythms and a psychedelic approach to build on the traditions of reggae and dub music. HEADS HANG HEAVY is an explosive party experience, a diverse collective of musicians who share the common goal of making dance floors sweat. Combining the roots of reggae, the meatiness of the blues and a splash of ska, HHH completes their West Coast blend with tasty vocals that will stir your thoughts and warm your soul. http://www.facebook.com/HeadsHangHeavyMusic

The BRASS ACTION plays horn-driven ska at its finest, bringing a wide variety of influences and styles to the stage. This high energy quintet have a song "Devil Down Below" featured in the new Daniel Radcliffe movie Horns.
