Event Description

Thione Diop and Yeke-Yeke play traditional percussion rhythms from Senegal, Guinea and other parts of Africa. Instruments they play include djembe, djun djun, sabar and tama (talking drum). Their music is high energy and danceable...

Yeke-Yeke will take you on a musical journey through the textures and rhythms, making you want to dance with their fresh and heart-pumping grooves!

The show will be at UVic in the Phillip T. Young Recital Hall.
