There is a common thread in the songs of seasoned singer songwriter Scott Acomba. It is an ernest folk/blues sensibility that forms the backbone of his emotive explorations paired with a unique sense of melody and intimate vocal style.
The son of two singer songwriters Acomba grew up surrounded by the style of music he creates today.
With a professional carreer spaning two decades Acomba knows where he comes from. The west coast artist started his career at 18 as singer for the Nettwerk/Capitol band After All. Later he formed indie Alt-Rock band Satsuma based out of Vancouver then Toronto producing the album "Hello My Name Is" and two videos.
Along the way collaborating with musicians from notable Canadian bands Broken Social Scene, Great Lake Swimmers,Sarah McLaughlin and Matthew Good Band. Acomba has called Victoria home for the last 10 years.
He is currently recording a new solo studio album to be released fall 2014 with a video for the song "Be Brave".
