Event Description

Tad Suzuki is a self-taught, award-winning acrylic artist. Born in Tokyo, Tad came to Canada in 1983 as a student, lived in Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Vancouver before settling in Victoria, BC, in 1992. Specialized in urban subject matters, Tad has shown his work in various group and solo exhibitions since 1994, and received numerous awards, including Myfanwy Spencer Pavelic Award (Sooke Show) and Daler-Rowney Purchase Prize (American Artist magazine). His work has been featured in posters, books, and international art magazines. Tad’s original works are included in private and corporate collections in Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, and the United States. Tad is represented by Winchester Galleries (Victoria, BC) and Plus One Gallery (London, UK). Tad has been showing at Winchester since 1997. This is his 5th solo exhibition with Winchester.
