Event Description
Bridges To Royal was a musical collaboration just waiting to happen.
The band was formed in New West - also known as "the Royal City". Amrik and Aaron, who have been writing songs together since high school, were brought back together when they joined forces in the band Second Guess. Although Second Guess decided to part ways, Aaron and Amrik agreed to continue working together.
The boys were on a hunt for a new vocalist when they met James, former guitarist and lead vocalist for The Tenfolds. The chemistry was instant. The music possessed them; it took over, almost literally writing itself.
Through mutual friends they met Jordan, from the bands Kush and The Rekenning. After listening to the direction of the band he agreed to come along for the ride. So, now they had three guitarists, two vocalists, and a drummer. Aaron decided to fill in as a temporary bassist. He was a natural, so he is now the official temporary bassist...
It only took them a few jam sessions at Bullys in New Westminster to realize they had something good in the making.
"Reviving Rock-n-Roll" is what they are aiming to do in this digital world, and to entertain their fans with high-energy music. With influences from jazz to blues, punk rock to classic rock and with their catchy riffs and melodic harmonies, Bridges To Royals music does not disappoint.
Bridges to Royal had a big end to 2013! They released their debut single "On Display", their massive EP Release party at Joes Apartment on the 22nd of November and a second show at Joe's on the 28th of December.Bridges to Royal want to give a shout out and many thanks to their family and friends who have supported them along the way. To all of the amazing people in our lives thank you!.
