The Action Index Presents, Vancouver Island Hardcore Punk Society and CFUV 101.9FM presents Taxa and locals for the National Campus and Community Radio Conference 2014.
The 2014 National Campus and Community Radio Conference (NCRC) is hosted by CFUV 101.9FM in Victoria, British Columbia on Coast Salish territory. NCRC 2014 will be a week of keynotes, workshops, panels, general meetings, industry networking and social events. Taxa is a new Vancouver band doing loud music in the vein of Unwound with male and female vocals. Featuring members of Damages, Mouse Ear, Deadsure, and many more. With a 7" out on Hex Records last year and a new one upcoming on Clue #2.

Bungus are a local grind act that are about to go on a final tour before their demise at the end of summer. This show serves as a kickoff for their summer tour.

Laces Out are a brand new hardcore band from Victoria featuring members of Amnesian, Measureless, A Long Way Home, and more. Recordings to come.
Reality At Risk are self described high school hardcore. These young kids have booked their own shows and really provided a boost of vitality to local loud shows.
