Land, Sea and Sky will be a unique concert featuring the music of local composers,(Sylvia Rickard, Leila Lustig, Diane Berry, Josh Layne, Lynne Penhale) in a tribute to our natural environment and the organizations working to learn more about it and to protect it. Each piece performed will be dedicated to a local environmental group, such as the Victoria Natural History Society, the Dogwood Initiative, the Rocky Point Bird Observatory, the Child and Nature Alliance, and others.
It will feature the Vis a Vis Sax Quartet, Josh Layne, (harp), Paula Kiffner (cello), Diane Berry (flute), Gord Clements (clarinet), Marnie Setka-Mooney (soprano)
Arlene Overman (mezzo-soprano) and St. Mary's Children's Choir.
It will be on April 4th at First Unitarian Church of Victoria at 7:30 p.m., with a repeat performance on April 26th at the Swan Lake Nature House.
