Local recording artist and environmental pioneers team up with Creatively United for the Planet for a warm evening of music, artwork, coffee and conversation.
Danton Jay, a mixed genre singer, songwriter, and recording artist lays out his smooth sounds to bring some chill but upbeat vibes to St. Anne’s Academy. Hear tracks from his new sustainability inspired album-Morcenx while sipping on some locally roasted coffee. He teams up with beautiful, refined folk and Jazz singer Kristia Di Gregorio, winner of the 2006 Vancouver Island Female Vocalist award while she sings tracks from her upcoming album Whiplash Curve. Finally, bid on some items and artwork from a silent auction while hearing the indie-roots folk band West My Friend. Their collaborative, and progressive sounds are rooted not only in Canadiana, but in Victoria’s innovative social development circles.
Sit back and enjoy mixed musical genres, and meet environmentally focused advocates in Victoria’s art and music scene. Learn, connect, celebrate, and grow our community with the arts.
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
