Event Description

Born in Ghana and educated by American hip hop, Blitz the Ambassador is a fusion artist who defies comparison. Sharing equal parts of his artistic growth in Ghana and Brooklyn, Blitz has taken a path most MC's do not take, he plays with a live band, composing complex musicto back his rhymes. Come take part in a one of a kind opportunity to hear this talented artist explain his career, the art of musical fusion and the meaning of ‘hip-life.’


"Contemporary Directions in Ghanaian Music" will feature Blitz talking about his youth, education and artistic growth. The art of fusion willbe explored as well as Blitz's unique composing style, demonstrated with his full band in a live setting. The audience will be able to participate with the interactive portion of the workshop.
