12 Midnite’s MOTION SICKNESS STUDIOS
on Vancouver’s East Side was damaged by a fire on the morning of October 22
Thanks to the quick actions of witnesses, neighbors and the Vancouver Fire Department, damage to the building was kept to one corner. Amazingly, fire fighters managed to push my custom 49 Chevy outside to safety, and were apparently exceptionally careful to do the least damage possible to the artwork in the shop. My thanks goes out to them!
Fortunately, the insurance will probably cover at least a minimal amount of the loss, and family and friends were quick to lend help and support.
Musical gear owned by Raised By Wolves, 12 Midnite, and Mr. Plow was also spared the wrath of both fire and water.
Unfortunately a large amount of 12 Midnite artwork was lost, ironically enough due to the hot rod flame imagery that much of the work contained.
In an attempt to clear out the space, what is left of the artwork will be scrubbed up and presented in a
fire sale next Saturday, October 30 from noon to 3 PM at Motion Sickness Studios, 333 Clark Drive, Vancouver
