Let's welcome the Winner of the 2012 Kora Awards (African equivalent of the Grammy's) in the category of Best Male East African Artist.

Finally, a popular and well-known African artist is making it all the way to Vancouver! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 11th. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the contagious sounds of East African music and the soothing voice of one its contemporary ambassadors: KIDUM, who comes accompanied by a 7-piece band. The African music spectrum will be covered from East to West in an all-night celebration featuring the Congolese rumba ensemble OKAPI MUZIKA and even a dance demo at the beginning of the night.
The evening will also feature:
