Event Description

THE RUFFLED FEATHERS have been delighting Vancouver audiences since 2008 with their unique version of danceable chamber-rock that combines the charming vocals of Gina Loes with intricate arrangements of piano, mandolin, trumpet, and guitar. In 2012 the band released the full-length album Oracles, which followed their 2010 EP Lost Cities. Oracles twelve songs stem from an eclectic blend of influences, from Chinese revolutions to personal revelations. They tell stories about love, about mistakes, and ultimately, about change. Currently, the Ruffled Feathers are hard at work on a new EP, to be released in the summer of 2013.
