This workshop will focus on learning a traditional tune or two from across the pond so you can fit into any Celtic session. Celtic ornamentation gives life and soul to any tune, this workshop will explain how to master any ornamentation and work them into any tune. Please bring along your instrument, and audio recorder.
Fiddler Nellie Quinn has based herself as a working musician in Newcastle, UK for the past three years. Newcastle has one of the most active folk scenes in the British Isles offering a Celtic session just about every night of the week.
