Cottonmouth Jones fired up it's pistons for the first time in the summer of 2006. Originally starting out as a song writing vehicle, it soon became obvious that we had to take this baby for a ride, Otis! A ton o' gigs and a few members later we're still kickin' ass and takin' names y'all!
Horse Opera is a Vancouver-based roots-rock band whose musical mix blends country and Canadiana, a bit of blues, a dash of soul, a heaping portion of 80's-inspired power-pop, all wrapped up in rock and roll. Their original songs feature strong hooks, distinctive vocals and a twin guitar attack. Their sound has been compared to Blue Rodeo, Chris Isaak and the Mavericks.
Adam Hill creates music with pencils, paper, computers, and a variety of instruments. He has written songs, symphonies, and suites, and has released three albums of new-timey music. He also performs creations of other songwriters and composers.
“Hill exceptionally integrates folk stylings with modern pop sensibility. It’s a true joy to hear something that grabs you immediately.”
