Having been relocated from San Francisco and fresh off a year-long world tour, Gano has a suitcase packed full of Tropical House to share! Gano is now one of the fastest growing names in the BC dance music scene with a blend of Techy Rhythms and Bouncing Bass with just enough of that Signature Circus Sound to keep the Dance Floor Bumpin’! Not that his name is getting longer, but with a flurry of big performances, has come a surge of loyal Booty Shakers and Disciples to his sound. And he’s no stranger to the studio: Gano with Kevin Legere (as Double Dog Dare) have written some Killa Dance Floor Fillas. While Ganos' sound itself draws on a decade of experience, exploring underground scenes across North America, in just the past year his name has appeared alongside such international talent as Deep Dish, Gaudi, Terry Francis, and Kenny Glasgow. Also, Gano now joins some of our most passionate, dedicated local artists as the newest member of Sunset Collaborations. Catch him dancing behind the decks and Laying the Wobblin' Bass on Thick at a dance floor near you!
THOMAS BANKS
has been a staple in the dance music community in the City of Gardens since the late 90's. His blend of House music ranges from Jackin' House to Minimal Tech Funk to Deep Techno House to straight-up House music. Thom has earned himself many residencies over the years and has been invited to play at the best festivals, parties and nightclubs, including numerous Lotus Long Weekends @ the Lotus Sound Lounge in Vancouver, Full Moon Parties in Thailand, slick beach clubs in Mexico, and of course, Soundwave, West Coast Canada's fabled 3-day electronic music festival. His Tight Mixing, Unparalleled Track Selection and Keen Ability in Interpreting his Crowd on the dance floor has allowed him to play alongside names such as Mathew Jonson, Dave Seaman, Mark Farina, Lawnchair Generals, The Mole, Bassnectar, and Dirt Crew, just to name a few. Often considered a DJ's favourite DJ, Thom Banks can Lay Down Beats that are Subtle and Smooth or Thick and Chunky - either way, his selection and mixing always breaks new ground.
MICHAEL B. LACEY
First, he started a residency and promoted shows at Zona's bistro in Canmore, where he brought in acts from all over Canada sustaining the elctronic scene in town. It was not easy just to become known, so he had to do it the old fashioned way - throw a party. Since then, he has had the privilege of playing along side Andy Caldwell, Kaskade, Jason Hodges, Loopity Goofs, Bad Boy Bill, Luke McKeehan, Jon Delerious, Matt B, Freddy J, Kenny Glasgow, Matt C, Diamond, Vicious Vic, Robbie C, Arlen, Mark Davis, Brad Copeland, Freaky Flow, Pete Wilde, Czech, Tim Patrick, Big League Chu, Vinyl Fixx, Cary Chang, Jason Klos, and Wakket.
