Late show: Flying Fox and the Hunter Gatherers with Blackberry Wood
Winnipeg’s favourite gypsy-jazz-orchestral outfit, Flying Fox and the Hunter Gatherers features original rock opera, old style crooning and a killer brass section.
A band fascinated by folk tales, puppet shows, and homemade mythologies, Flying Fox performs music about the sexual misadventures of heavy machinery, the nighttime journeys of little boys and lions born of a human womb. They're even known to take their monster heads on the road and perform their original rock opera, "The Wild Things." Don't miss the spectacle that is a Flying Fox live show!

Blackberry Wood is a wonderful, secret and magic combination of alt-country-
gypsy-circus music. A high-energy cabaret spin on old and modern music adding
juicy flavours like jumpin' ska, skiffle, rock and roll, punk, ‘n any other irresistible
body shakin’, foot stompin’ delights to this original alt-country-gypsy-circus style.
Blackberry Wood comes down the road like a travelling caravan, with all kinds of wondrous music and fantastically costumed characters. Blackberry Wood has kicked
up dust in towns all over Western Canada, the United Kingdom (5 tours to the UK, with two years in a row playing the world famous Glastonbury Festival), and parts of the United States. See you at the show and don't forget your dancing shoes!!!
