Late show: Mindil Beach Markets with Pigeon Park and the Deep Sea Gypsies
Mindil Beach Markets return to the Railway Club on Thursday, for another epic dance party. This will be MBM’s last show in Vancouver until they release their new album in March, 2013. The groovy 5-piece has spent the summer playing a variety of festivals around the province. With a resume that includes opening spots for Nazareth, Bedouin Soundclash and Del the Funky Homosapien, it’s the band’s diversity that has become their trademark. Their unique brand of rock and roll, rich with influences of reggae, funk and hip-hop, continues to wow audiences of all ages.

The Deep Sea Gypsies are greatly inspired by the sounds of classic and psychedelic rock. Loke Webb’s hip-hop vocal style gives the music a unique west-coast feel, while Johnny Regimbal provides the soulful, heartfelt vocal and lead guitar riffs.
