The Vancouver Community College Jazz Orchestra presents an evening of Canadian big band jazz directed by Alan Matheson. Works by Canadian jazz composers Phil Nimmons, Paul Ruhland and Rob McKenzie will be presented along with classic works by Stan Kenton and Duke Ellington.

This concert will feature rarely performed works by some of the giants of Canadian jazz played by an exciting, youthful ensemble that continues the tradition of great Canadian jazz playing.
