Event Description

Let's take a right turn down memory lane, it's the 90's and you're a punk rock kid. CDs in their entirety had to be manually shifted in and out of your discman, in and out of your boom box. Practically speaking listening to an album start to finish was something everyone just did. That familiar pause as your brain counts in the next song before it actually starts. Strung Out is bringing back that sense of anticipation by playing their two most recognized albums, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues and Twisted By Design in their entirety on Thursday July 19 at The Biltmore Cabaret.

In 2 minute and some odd second intervals you're going to be thrown back into everything you loved about those bad old days. Perryscope suggests you dust off those albums, upload em if you got em, or download them if they got lost over the years, turn off the shuffle and prep your brain for a night of music you know inside and out.

Technical and aggressive, yet melodic and emotional, Strung Out emerged from the grossly populated Southern California music scene as one of the strongest and most creative bands in the land. Strung Out instantly achieved recognition for their ability to creatively fuse punk, metal, and progressive rock.
