XAVIER.....
Over the past 7 years, Xavier has played over 100 shows on and off the Island. This man is a spinning machine covered in a soft exoskeleton. Whether it’s Funky, Dirty, Disco-Tinged, Deep and Dark House, or Electro, there is one word that brings all these elements together: Breaks. No one brings such hype and energy to the genre as Xavier. By himself and with fellow "Loud Neighbour” (a.k.a. W.A.X) Wes Bain, he’s shared the stage with international heroes NAPT, The Breakfastaz, General Midi, DJ Quest & Odissi, Shimon, Treasure Fingers and many more. Once called “Vancouver Island’s King of Breaks” Xavier is constantly bettering himself as a DJ by Dangerously Mixing styles with A Cappella to form his unique creation of Dance Floor Mayhem.>.
GUMBOOTZ.....
Born in Toronto, Cale "Gumbootz" Robichaud, moved to the West Coast at the young age of 11. Always having a major love for music, Gumbootz started his music career playing guitar. After numerous attempts at guitar, a realization was made that Cale and guitars just don’t mix. It wasn’t until a friend picked up a couple turntables that he realized his true calling; To Rawk the Masses as DJ Gumbootz. Since then, Gumbootz has built up a reputation as a Hard Hitting Breaks DJ, opening for world class DJ’s such as The Freestylers, The Breakfasters, Myagi, Sir Kuts, and Influenza. He even hosted a weekly internet radio show on "Icestation.net". Gumbootz has played every genre starting with Hard House, to Breaks, to Drum n' Bass, and to Electro House. But as of recently Gumbootz has said "To Hell with Genres" and play’s what he calls "Dance Music" as his Genre; music that makes people dance! So when you go to a Gumbootz show your sure to hear a little bit of EVERYTHING! His Energy, Charisma, and Ability to Rawk the Crowd makes even the most Stubborn of Party Goers Hit the Dance Floor! DJ Gumbootz is definitely not one to miss.
GENERIC.....
DJ Generic (a.k.a. Cole Magnusson) has been mixing and scratching records for over eight years. He mainly plays and produces Breaks (all kinds), some Hip Hop, and Drum n' Bass. DJ Generic has had the honour to open for Bassnectar, Dave Tipper, Control Z, Screwface, Mat the Alien and more. DJ Generic is all about music and what it stands for...in a positive sense.
